Miracle Blanket – Really works!

I used the Miracle Blanket – Baby Swaddling Blanket – Beige with Bryson.  I never could swadle with a normal blanket, so I never did it wiht my other boys.  Well, Bryson was my BEST sleeper and loved to be swaddled.

My only regret, I only bought one.  So when he peed through his diaper in the middle of the night and his miracle blanket got wet, I was up a creek!

  1. That looks pretty neat. I’ve never seen a blanket like that. At first, it looks like the babies are crying *because* they’re being put in the blanket, but it’s probably more that they’re not being held, because as soon as they get swaddled, they calm right down!

  2. Nurses tend to be expert swaddlers. The babies look like they are in straight jackets after we are done with them. No high tech swaddle gadgets for me.

  3. I looooove swaddle blankets. I never had the Miracle Blanket, but I did have a few SwaddleMe blankets from Babies R Us. They were cheaper than the Miracle Blanket, and a different design, but they worked great for us. I was always soooo sad when the girls outgrew them! PJ has been out of hers for almost 9 months and I *still* have to clamp her legs between mine when I’m nursing her to sleep so she’ll stop wiggling!

  4. Just this week I was wondering about babies & blankets…my pondering was…why in the heck hasn’t anyone made an “electric baby blanket?”

What I’m talking about is a blanket that heats up–just like electric blankets that you put on a bed–that could be used in the hospital to keep baby warm while baby is being held, rather than baby being stuck under the french fry warmer. I hate those stupid baby warmers!

If someone would make one, I’d buy it TODAY to put in my doula bag.

  5. I LOVED my miracle blanket. I have it as a keepsake now, and I recommend them to everyone. I used it for several months and it helped my boys sleep very soundly.
