Natural House Cleaners – Healthier for Whole Family

I had the chance to review The Peaceful Housewife: Natural Household Cleaner Recipes.

Avoiding Toxic Substances

One thing we talk about in Hypnobabies is Avoiding Toxic Substances.  Did you know that household cleaners can be one of the most dangerous exposure to toxins we get?  We don’t even think about it, we just clean our house, spending lots of money on these toxic supplies.

But how can I change?  It is so easy to buy the bottle of blue window cleaner.  How could I do it differently?  Pay more for the “natural cleaners?”  That is one way.

I am happy to be able to recommend this e-book filled with simple recipes to create your own cleaners.

Ranging from:

  • Laundry Detergent
  • Dishwasher Detergent
  • Window Cleaner
  • Diaper Pail Deoderizer
  • and much more!

The best part is the price!  It is under $5 and will save you so much money in the end!  🙂    The recipes are simple and easy to make.  I love adding essential oils to have the scents I enjoy and don’t bother me.  (I am very sensitive to scented products)

Give Away

I also get to do a give away of 2 copies of her book.  So if you are looking for a way to protect your family from toxic substances and have a clean house too, leave a comment of why you want to try to make your own products.  🙂  Give away closes on the 30th of September

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Sharing is caring!

  1. I have 7 children and one on the way. It would be great to save money as well as to have healthy and safe cleaning supplies.

    Blessings!

  2. I already make some of my own cleaning products, but I’m always looking for more recipes and ideas, especially ones that use essential oils. I love essential oils!

  3. I am very sensitive to cleaning products and have started making my own as much as possible. I am starting a family and having something like this would be wonderful and really helpful.

  4. This sounds like a really interesting book! I have been interested in making my own cleaning products for a while, but haven’t gotten around to researching it yet. I try to buy natural cleaning products–there is a brand that has essential oils in it that I really like, but they are kind of expensive. The smell of blue window cleaner bothers me. I would love to win!
