This past week we were in Utah for our annual ski trip with my parents. They have a timeshare in Park City and we get to go there every year. We spend the first weekend with the cousins and then continue onto Park City.
I had scheduled posts for while I was away, so I didn’t have to worry about blogging. It is kind of freeing to not have to be on the computer. I did get on about an hour every other day to check e-mails. 🙂
What I have long known is when I am not in my normal routine, a lot of my daily type goals don’t get done – like personal scripture study. But others get done better – like eating together as a family!
Pray and read scriptures as a family every day. – Nope.
Family Home Evening (family night/planning and game) Every Week. Driving home from our trip – does that count? 11 hours stuck in a van together?
Eat as a Family 3 times a week. – YES! We ate together every night, except the night Rob and I went on a date.
Be on time to church each week – No church this week – driving home
Study Scriptures Daily – Nope
Pray Daily – yes
walk 4 times a week – Pretty active – snowshoe hike, walking downtown, shopping.
Cook healthy homemade meals 3 times a week – No, but helped my mom do it.
Make a Weekly Meal Plan – Yes, we have a meal plan we use on every trip with my parents.
Keep the Kitchen Table CLEAN! – Not home to get it dirty, but probably left it dirty.
Go on 3 dates a month – Feb – 1.
Go on a Hike Each Month – YAY – our first hike was with snowshoes through the forest. Awesome!
Be active participant in my 3 book clubs (4th on months only when it is feasible) – I read a lot, already finished reading my book club books for the month. Also read some books as possibilities for my pick next month!
Loose 15 pounds – Using Weight Release Program – Took week off while on trip.
Read 24 books and review them on Good Reads. I love trips – I get to read a lot. I finished Remarkable Creatures and Mennonite in a Little Black Dress – So total of 6 books this year so far.
