52 Weeks Organizing – Storing clothes for next child!

If you have more then one child, you have this problem.

How do I organize waiting clothes?

Clothes don’t fit T1 – but are still to big for T2, so where do I store them?  You can see here, I sometimes just throw them on a shelf high up in their closets.

I also have been somewhat more organized and have them in overflowing boxes as well!

T3 closet before - these are sizes he will grow into
T2's closet - some clothes he will grow into and a few T1 clothes

I am lucky that my mom lives near 2 outlet stores.  So she will buy things for the boys, even T1 still and send them to me.  So I get to store those too.

I got down ALL the boxes and lose clothes.  I got some empty boxes and a sharpie and got everything all organized and back in the appropriate closets!

T1 - has the least to grow into
T2 - has 1 box to grow into and an empty box to add what he grows out of.
T3 has the most.
I also have this dresser with some things and another box of shoes

Being organized and especially having empty boxes to put the outgrown clothes in, really helps!

I have been inspired to do this 52 weeks of Organizing by Organizing Junkie!

What systems do you have for storing clothes for your kids?
