If I gave you nothing but a handful of seeds and a patch of ground, you could probably find a way to plant them and they would probably grow. But if I gave you a shovel and watering can it would make your work much easier—and much more enjoyable.
In the same way, the more tools you have in your birthing toolbox, the easier and more enjoyable your birth will be.
(Even for moms planning on getting an epidural having these tools can help them get to that point and they will still use them after they get an epidural as well.)
Your body does know how to birth a baby—but with certain tools, it will be easier and more enjoyable!
