Homebirth Happenings

I didn’t even have a chance to comment on the homebirth study that came out.  It was so obviously biased that it made me grumpy.

I love what Mamas and Babies posted about it.  She has a lot of great links.  I agree with the conclusion she comes to.

When you’re fully informed, you have no need to fear. If you feel peace about home birth, then you know it’s a good choice for you. If you still have doubts or fears about it, keep researching and reconsidering until you come to a decision you feel comfortable with.

I always tell moms, “‘You need to birth where you feel safe.”  I have had a mom change to homebirth at 37 weeks, because she didn’t feel safe birthing in the hospital environment.
