Number 3 CHECK

I tag

BlueJeuls – a cyber friend who is a flight attendent and we “met” because her SIL was my friend in high school.  The internet is so cool!

Jody – a cyber-friend I met on a Feb 1998 board when I was pregnant with Devon and a chunck of us are still friends after all this time!  She is a writer and it is so cool to open a magazine and read a story about her son and say, “I know him!”  Even though I don’t really KNOW him.  The internet is so cool!

Alison – a cyber-friend who became real friend.  Probably my coolest internet story ever!  I saw Alison’s blogpost about her daughters birth, where she used HypnoBirthing.  I read it and then saw she was an author and then saw she lived in my hometown and would come to your book club if you read her book and discussed it.  I thought that was totally cool, SO when it was my turn to pick my next at my book club, we read her books (which are really good) and she came!  That was fun.  But even funner, she had always wanted to be in a book club and we invited her to join ours and she did!  Then even better, she is just a really cool person and we are a lot alike and her 2 year old loves my 2 year old who in turn loves her 2 year old back (Bryson and Abby love each other) and so we play together.  AND the coolest of all, I got to be her doula when she had a homebirth back in March.  The internet is SO cool!

Bri – I met her in real life when she took my Hypnobabies Classes.  Then she had to move to NM, so I knew I would probably never see her again.   But I love to follow my families and hear about their births and see their babies grow.  So I started visiting her blog.  Then she had to be induced and I was so worried she would end up with a cesarean, but they totally were posting from the hospital during her birthing time (which was really long) and I was able to follow along and find out that she had a vaginal birth of her sweet baby Caleb. (I came home from church and first off had to check the blog to see what was happening!) Now I get to watch him grow up on the internet!  The internet is so cool!

TJED Mothers – A group of mothers who homeschool in the Thomas Jefferson Education model.  Which is really cool.  I learn a bunch of great ideas and get inspired by them about mothering and educating my kids!  The internet is so cool  (Aren’t you glad I am only going to say that one more time!)

Stacy – My in real life friend.  So sweet.  She has had a tough year with two miscarriages and her blog lets me see into her heart and even though I am her friend and see her in person, sometimes I learn more about her by reading her blog.  I love you Stacy and I know you will find the strength to carry on!  The internet is so cool.

The internet is so cool because it allows us to connect with people we have never met in real life and it helps us stay connected to those who move away and even strengthens our connections with those who are here close.

5 and 6 in process!  CHECK!
