Lovely phone message

As noted in my previous post, I am on vacation, so I haven’t been tied to my cell phone.  I discovered a lovely phone message on there from this morning from one of my students.   The message was from G., from this post, with the OB who tried to scare her that the routine interventions he uses were necessary!  She changed to a home birth with a midwife. 

She had her baby last night, a beautiful home water birth and she said, “Thank you for the classes.  The birth was everything I hoped for.  It was my dream birth.” 

Her message made me cry tears of joy.  Horray!  I called and talked to her briefly tonight, she was nursing her baby so I didn’t want to keep her long, but it was a fast easy birth and I can’t wait to get all the details when I get back home!
