I had Pre-Term Labor with Thing 1 and was on terbutaline around the clock for weeks. The terbutaline did make my heart race and was kind of awful. But I took it hoping it would help me go full term. Let me tell you a mom with Pre-Term Labor is willing to do most anything for her baby.
The FDA is warning that terbutaline is dangerous for moms! That it hasn’t even been proven to help prevent Pre-term labor.
I wish I had known that. I wish I had taken the time to research that.
