My 2 favorite birth blogs

both have great posts about cesareans this week.

Rixa’s Blog Stand and Deliver is always fun to read.   Rixa had an unassisted birth with her first baby and did her Dissertation on Unassisted Birth.  She is expecting again, so it is fun to see her belly shots and hear her pondering her upcoming birth.  It is also fun because she is using the Hypnobabies Home Study, so I see her on the Hypnobabies Yahoo Group sometimes.  I also met her at the Trust Birth conference, so that is just a little extra cool thing, that maybe makes me a bit biased towards her blog.  🙂

Kathy, at Women to Women Childbirth has an article about Elective Cesareans.  I am not sure how Kathy does it, but she reads these articles, finds the studies and then discects it all and puts it together in these easy to understand posts, that are SO relevant!   We are friends from the Indepedent Childbirth group, which is a GREAT group for childbirth educators.

Enjoy!
