I love the story told at the end of the blog post, about a mom freaking out after a cesarean that her baby was in her and now needed to be ON her. The anesthesiologist was going to drug mom, but the care provider intervened and put baby on mom to the surprise of the anesthesiologist and mom and baby did great! Part of why she could is mom insisted on it!
Moms, speak up, you have power!!! If you are planning a cesarean, talk with your care provider before hand.
