This is not birth related at all. But this was such a great movie to go and see. I wasn’t sure, because I am more of a romantic comedy and I worried it would be too action. DH is more of an action guy and he was worried it would be to romantic comedy. It was the PERFECT combination. We were both really happy.
I also loved that it was a totally clean movie. There was a bit of violence, but not gory. There was no bad language, no inappropriate behavior. It was just great. I would let my 9 year old and 12 year old watch it without any worries. They would love the action parts. (My 4 year old would probably like it too, I just think it would be a bit too violent for him.)
Also my boys are big into scouting and I love that Tom Cruise’s character was an Eagle Scout. I think my boys would get a kick out of that.
So if you need a fun movie to go and see, this one is a winner!
I am posting this review in hopes of winning some free movie tickets. It is sponsored by Common Sense Media. http://go2c.sm/movies Which is a GREAT resource for parents in checking out movies before exposing your kids to inappropriate things.
Apparently my DH doesn’t care about these things, as when I returned home from the Trust Birth Conference, I discovered they had a Jurrasic Park Weekend, including my 4 year old! Uggh.
