I got a free sample of Vitafusion PreNatal Gummies to try.

On a side note, my boys think it is strange I get so many random things to try.  But I love it!  🙂

When I was pregnant I was so BAD at taking vitamins.  They would sometimes make me feel sick, so I would usually “forget” to take them.

When I got these chewy vitamins I was nervous to try them at first when I saw they had fish oil.  I had tried to take other fish oil gummies and they were yucky.  But I tried these and they were yummy. 🙂

I think that these Vitafusion Prenatal, Gummy Vitamins would be a great option for moms.  Especially if they were like me and not so good at taking the “normal” prenatal vitamins.

  1. I took these for a while. I liked them for about half a bottle, and then for some reason, I couldnt stand the flavor anymore. I dont know if it was a pregnancy-related sensitivity, or I was just tired of them , but I switched back to the normal swallow-them-whole kind of pill.

I could see that it would be a nice alternative, but maybe not every day. Maybe on the days you don’t want to swallow a pill!

Vitamins can sometimes be ineffective, many people think that they are a direct substitute, but they arent!

  3. I am breastfeeding and taking Vitafusion Prenatal vitamins and I love them! After a year of choking down prenatal pills and gagging on the fishy after taste of the DHA, I found these! LOVE, LOVE these!! I do not detect any fishy taste, or gag from swallowing (after chewing and savoring them for a moment) Vitafusion Prenatal vitamins. If you are pregnant, and/or breastfeeding, take your vitamin bottle with you to the doctor and ask if you are getting what you need. You know all to well they have done enough lab work with your blood, your OB will tell you if you need something different!

  4. It’s refreshing to see a prenatal vitamin with DHA that does not contain hexane-extracted DHA. It seems most products these days (even organic milk and baby formula!) with added DHA use hexane to extract it from algae. Hexane is a neurotoxin so no thank you. I like New Chapter vitamins but if I ever had a problem taking those I would look to these next since they are safely sourced.
