I know that my son had birth trauma, I had birth trauma from his birth as well. It certainly put strain on our relationship through the years. I think that we have cleared a lot of that over the last few years using energy clearing type of tools, such as EFT.
Here is a link to an article where a mom helps her daughter clear up some issues, that she wasn’t aware of from her birth.
If you are interested in learning more about EFT and how it can help you, come to the training in June!
Wow, that story is amazing. I’ve also heard of people using cranio-sacral therapy on babies after a rough birth. Are you familiar with this? Thanks for sharing.
I have heard of cranio-sacral and it sounds really cool too. Though you need a lot of training to do that, where as EFT is simpler. So I feel confident doing EFT within my family, with what little training I have done.
While conventional talk therapies will help a client to cope with the painful memories, the process often involves re-living the event time after time. EFT takes a different approach and directly addresses the emotional pain itself rather than the event that caused the trauma.
EFT ensures that you become desensitised from the event itself and can view it in a detached way. Instead of confronting the trauma by re-visiting the event, EFT works by gradually addressing each of the underlying issues that surround the trauma; it’s rather like removing the individual layers of an onion.
Hello there had a rough birth and pregnancy.
Did you see a difference after tapping with your child?
YES! I now do other energy work with my children and with clients who have had difficult births. You can see more information about that at http://www.sheridanripley.com
