I went to a Book Release Party for my friend Melanie. She wrote The List. I started reading today and it is so fun!
I also got to meet Karen at the party, from A Peek at Karen’s World, it was her blog that inspired me to do these goal posts.
I also think that Melanie (maybe Karen too) is going to come to BlogHer with me! I am happy to have someone to go with.
Here are my goal updates.
BIRTH
- Attend 5 great births as a Doula – Attended a surprise birth as a back up doula – so 3! Will post more later about this.
HEALTH
- walk 4 times a week – 4 times!!!
- Cook healthy homemade meals 3 times a week –3 times.
- Make a Weekly Meal Plan – Yes!
- Eat as a Family 3 times a week. – Yes.
- Start a strength training program – Been doing this every morning with T1. He can out sit up, push up, pull up me. But it is fun working together and improving!
- Loose 15 pounds –Back on track with Weight Release Program – Also starting to make Green Smoothies again. J
- Start eating Green Smoothies – OK, Only made 1 last week. Bummer, need to get excited about this.
HOUSE
- Keep the Kitchen Table CLEAN! – I think we are being more conscious of this, but not doing good.
- Buy and install New blinds for Dining Area and Bedroom – Bought them on Saturday – hopefully get installed in next week or so.
FAMILY
- Go on 3 dates a month – 1 date for March so far
- Be active participant in my 3 book clubs (4th on months only when it is feasible) – A different person came to the school book club. It is fun getting to know people better one on one. I am hosting my other book club in 2 weeks. We are reading my Aunts Book Hunter Huntress.
SPIRITUAL
- Pray and read scriptures as a family every day. – 4 days
- Family Home Evening (family night/planning and game) Every Week. Yes – so far every week.
- Be on time to church each week – Yes.
- Study Scriptures Daily –5 days.
- Pray Daily – yes
