2010 was a busy year. I was really into being a birth blogger. I tried to improve my blog and part of that included switching from Wordpress.com to self hosting in August. There have been some benefits, but I feel like there were some negatives too. I still have 2000 hits a month at the old blog and around 4000 here. But I wish they were all at the same place.
I posted 440 times. I started tracking how much time I spent working on my blog using Rescue Time and I spent on average 4 hours a week writing and working on my blog. I had over 80,000 hits on my blog.
I don’t know how much this blog matters, or if it is worth all my time.
It was nice having a break over Christmas. I read 4 books in the past 2 weeks. I miss reading. Maybe I need to spend more time reading and less time blogging?
Balance is what I am going to try to focus on this year. I will be back to talk about goals – did I meet the ones from last year and what are my new ones?
For now enjoy my

I really love this blog! I know blogging is a lot of work at times. I don’t subscribe to many birth-related blogs, but I think yours is great because you include such a variety of helpful information!
Thanks, I am glad that people that are not just birth junkies enjoy my site.
