I think the 5th Healthy Birth Practice, is easy to do at a homebirth.
For one reason, there are no stupid stirrups! Also typically (though not always) most homebirth midwives trust that mom can birth her baby.
Avoid giving birth on your back and follow your body’s urges to push, is easy to do at home.
I have compiled a video with MDP in homebirth settings. Enjoy!
Tips? I don’t think you need many for this – except talk with your midwife about pushing and make sure she does support MDP. 🙂

I didn’t do as much of this as I hoped I would with my first birth, so I’m already thinking of ways to be creative during my (hopeful) homebirth in December.
