I am a graduate student (and also a birthing professional) assisting for a large research project at UC Irvine, involving pregnancy and postpartum women in the Health Psychology department. Our study is actively recruiting new participants, and we need women who are 15 weeks (or less) pregnant and interested in coming to Irvine to participate in the study—we have currently enrolled about 25 women, but our goal is to enroll 150! It involves 3 visits to Irvine (at 15 weeks and 25 weeks of pregnancy, and 9 weeks postpartum), and total compensation of $190.

I was just hoping that you could spread the word to any newly-pregnant clients and other birthing professionals in Orange County. It is a great opportunity to help contribute to the knowledge about biological and hormonal factors that may contribute to postpartum depression.
