That is right, Umbilical CARD.
I like to send out Thank You Cards to the care providers who help at births I attend. Especially for the nurses who spend so much time helping protect our space.
I used to send out plain old notecards.
Then I found Umbilical Cards. They are SO cute and I think really make a statement. I have used them for my last few Thank You cards. I have also used them for baby showers.
I will say that for mailing you may want to go with the Gestationary. With the Umilical Card I worry you have to pay more postage because they are thicker? I put an extra stamp on just in case. So I am using them for baby showers where I hand deliver the card.
But everyone who has gotten one loves them.
I think it is a great idea for
- birth workers
- baby shower gifts
- thank you notes
Those are really cute! I just looked up the postal guidelines because I’m mailing handmade invitations for my daughter’s 3rd birthday party, and they are cardstock with a lot of layers. The maximum thickness for a letter is 1/4 of an inch, so if the card measure less than 1/4 inch think when its in an envelope, you can mail it with 1 stamp.
Good to know, then maybe it would be OK with the other one. I will need to measure it!
