I knew before summer even began that it would fly by. I was right.
Meeting the GOGL girls
The end of June I finally got to meet all The Gift of Giving Life Girls and it was wonderful. You can read about that here.
They are amazing women and it was so great to meet them. We get to see each other again when Felice gets married in September! Our book has brought them together and now they are getting married. YAY! Read about that here.
Virtual Book Tour
Our Virtual Book Tour was fun. We have gotten so much wonderful feedback so far. We have sold hundreds of books already. So we are excited about that.
Here are some of the highlights from the tour.
T2 off on his own adventure
I never thought I would send my 11 year old across the country on his own (well with his team) for a competition. But the stars aligned and with prayer and faith I knew he would be OK. He loved Hershey Pensylvania and was nominated as Best Singer for his solo! I wish I could have been there, but I am glad he had the chance to go!
Trip to Chicago
We are now all in Chicago (except for DH who is busy working) We are having fun with a side trip to Nauvoo, harvesting honey, washing cars, pirate parties and hanging with family.
When I get home
- 2 Blessingways-When I get home I am helping to host 2 blessing ways for dear friends. Do you know what a blessing way is? Think baby shower, but we celebrate the mom instead of the baby.
- Lots of Camps – When we get home the boys also have a few different camps.
- Church – I also got a new calling in church, where I am helping run the woman’s organization. That is going to take a lot of time.
- Beach, pool, playing
- Doulaing – I have some clients due the end of summer too.
Blogging is on the Backburner
I don’t want to worry about blogging, so I may be here if I find some time. I am going to schedule out some fun birth stories I have gathered and 2 book reviews I am working on. But other than that I may not be back until after school starts in September. Then T3 will be in first grade so I may be blogging a lot more! 🙂
