CNN story on mom refusing to give into hospital’s threats of a forced cesarean getting national news!
I love that this important issue is getting national exposure. So many women are being told they have to have a repeat cesarean and just say OK. This mom is standing up for her right for a vaginal birth, which the hospital is refusing to let her have.
It is a shame that she has to move far from her husband to have the birth she wants. It is so wrong.
I wish I could contact her to have the baby in Albuquerque so she could have a place to stay. That sucks she has to stay in a apartment by herself. What a crappy system.
I applaud her, though the circumstances stink (having to go approx. 300 miles away from her home and husband?!).
